Connecting to Serve will host the launch of Ahwatukee Community Service Week on Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at Mountain View Lutheran Church's Family Life Center. Schools, churches, non-profits and service clubs will showcase volunteer opportunities.

Groups looking for projects or student needing service hours will have a variety of charitable causes from which to choose.

Connecting to Serve is a community-based service organization with a mission to identify, connect and mobilize passionate, skilled individuals and organizations to deliver practical solutions to unmet needs in their communities.
