Our History

Connecting to Serve (CTS) was founded in 2007 by a group of individuals who believed they could have a stronger impact in a community by working together.  This group realized resources could be mobilized to meet the needs of many with the same energy and innovation used to meet the needs of one.

The organization grew organically over the next three years as individuals were impacted and community leaders were brought together to identify community assets and create solutions for our community challenges.

Growth was further escalated in 2010, when the Ahwatukee Chamber of Commerce partnered with CTS.  This strategic partnership increased the visibility of CTS in the community and strengthened its capacity for community outreach, developing programs and extending referrals.

We are humbled by the outpouring of community support we have received from so many entities and individuals and look forward to continued growth as we partner to build healthier   communities. We want to be more than just a local charity to the people of Ahwatukee, we want to impact the State of Arizona.
