What We Do

CTS brings together individuals and leaders from all types of organizations from government to churches and from civic to social groups to discuss best practices, share resources and ultimately work together to address critical community challenges. Collaboration has led to numerous initiatives including an encore literacy program, a financial awareness series, a food pantry consolidation, a human trafficking initiative and the development of an emergency shelter platform.

Recognizing organizations cannot change a community alone, CTS also promotes personal connections and responsibility. Individuals are encouraged to identify their personal passion and to engage with local organizations to make a difference. Addressing activism from both the personal and the organizational perspective is what makes CTS so unique and ultimately so successful. When passionate people identify their cause and connect with like-minded individuals and community leaders – change happens.
